The scheduling secrets that allow me to make multiple six figures in 20 hours or less per week

I want to be upfront about something before you read this. Right now, with school holidays just finished and a brand new Border Collie puppy at home, I’m working well under 20 hours a week. And my business is still running. That’s not a flex, it’s the whole point of everything I’m going to share here.

Some of my most successful periods in business have also been the periods when I’ve had the least time to work in it. When I was still in corporate, I made multiple six figures from my business in just six hours a week on Fridays, during which I was also managing my husband’s business admin, paying bills, running errands, and doing all the life stuff that doesn’t stop. It worked because I had no choice but to focus. There was no time to waste on things that didn’t matter, so I didn’t.

Here’s what I actually do to keep a multiple six-figure business running in 20 hours or less.

I take every Friday off, without exception

This is non-negotiable for me. Friday is the day I get my hair done, take my mum to lunch, and do whatever recharges me. It’s one of the main reasons I almost never burn out. If you’re working seven days a week and wondering why you’re exhausted, this is the first thing I’d look at.

Mondays are for internal work only

I have no client calls on a Monday, just a check-in with my VA. Monday is when I review my numbers, plan the week, and work through client audits inside the Peace and Profit Mastermind. It’s protected time for the work that requires my full brain, without the context switching that comes with calls.

All calls are clumped into Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings

A loosey-goosey calendar is one of the main reasons business owners feel like they can never get anything done. When discovery calls can be booked any time Monday to Friday and one client books at 8am Monday while another books Thursday at 3pm, you never get a full block of time for deep work. I run all calls Tuesday to Thursday, and I try to have them finished by midday. Week four of every month is a no-call week entirely, and I try to keep weeks one light as well. This means I have very clear on weeks and very clear off weeks, and I can actually plan around them.

I have standards for everything, and I communicate them clearly

When a client submits something for an audit, they know they’ll have it back within two weeks, and usually much sooner. When someone messages me in the Slack coaching channel, they know they’ll have a response within 24 hours. Because everyone knows what to expect, I know exactly how often I need to check in to keep my clients supported. I check Slack three times a day. That’s it.

The Mastermind runs on async support, not calls

I see other programmes with five calls a week, office hours, strategy sessions, funnel days, the lot. That’s not what I run, and it’s not what I’d recommend. Inside the Mastermind we have three calls per month and Slack every day, which means clients can get my input on almost anything without needing to book a call. Most of my clients tell me this is one of the main reasons they joined, full access without a calendar full of commitments. You can read more about how the Mastermind is structured here.

I don’t routinely do discovery calls

My calendar is genuinely hard to get into, and I’ve built a process that works without them. People apply, I answer questions upfront, and we have a conversation in the DMs. That means I can have those conversations between school drop off and dinner if I need to, rather than blocking out an hour for a call. I’ll always hold a call if someone genuinely needs one, but it’s the exception rather than the default.

The through-line across all of this is the same thing I’ve come back to twice now in building businesses to multiple six figures. Constraints force clarity. When you don’t have unlimited time, you stop doing the things that feel productive but aren’t, and you start doing the things that actually move the needle.

If you want to work with me inside a programme that’s built around this exact model, the Peace and Profit Mastermind waitlist is open. DM me on Instagram for the details.
